Daily Rituals to Start Your Morning Like an Earth Priestess
We all crave mornings that feel grounded, intentional, and nourishing. Mornings where we wake up feeling connected - to our bodies, to the day ahead, and to something deeper than the scroll.
But instead of rigid routines or hustle culture habits, what if your mornings felt like rituals?
What if they were guided by nature, intuition, and softness?
What if they helped you start the day rooted, radiant, and in tune with yourself?
This is how I begin my mornings like the earth priestess I am - with grace, rhythm, and a little plant powered magic.
Earth Priestess Morning Rituals
1. Start with Stillness (Before the World Finds You)
Before the phone. Before the scroll. Just… pause.
Lay a hand on your heart or belly. Feel your breath. Feel your body. Say to yourself:
“I’m here. I’m whole. I’m waking up slow today.”
This is where magic starts: not in doing, but in remembering.
2. Herbal Hydration
Start with something gentle and infused with intention.
Try:
Warm lemon water with sea salt (minerals, baby)
Nettle + lemon balm infusion (nourishing and mood soothing)
Hot water with rose petals + honey (for those “I need softness” days)
What matters most is that it’s intentional. Drink it slowly. Call your power back while you sip.
3. Light a Candle. Say a Prayer. Make It a Moment.
You don’t need a two hour altar session.
Just a candle on your kitchen table, your bathroom counter, or while you pack lunch.
Whisper a line to the day:
“Let me move with ease.”
“May I stay rooted in truth.”
“I open to what’s meant for me.”
The sacred doesn’t require silence. It just asks for presence.
4. Skin Care = Spell Work
As you wash and oil and mist, don’t just zone out. Make it a return. Use your Faerie Face Serum or toner (coming to the shop soon) and say:
“This is how I care for the version of me I’m becoming.”
Massage tension out of your jaw. Notice how you touch yourself. Let it be kind. I do this while I use my fae serum or my tallow with a gua sha.
5. Movement That Awakens
You’re not here to earn rest - you already deserve it.
Try:
5 minutes of hip circles
A walk around your house barefoot with tea in hand
Gentle yoga, embodied stretching, or a morning playlist dance
A few stretches with your hand on your heart
It’s not about perfection; it’s about showing up in your body.
6. Anoint. Dress. Embody.
Choose oils that speak to your intention: grounding, opening, joy.
Choose clothing that makes you feel like your softest, truest self - even if it’s just leggings and an oversized tee.
Drop your Bare Nectar on your skin and say:
“I am already the person I’m becoming.”
Bonus: Morning Altar Prompts
If you have 3–5 minutes, try one of these:
Pull a tarot or oracle card and journal: “What energy am I being invited into today?”
Write one thing you’re grateful for and one thing you’re calling in
Place a flower or herb on your altar and ask: “What do you want to teach me today?”
You don’t need a perfect routine or more pressure. You just need a few simple anchors to help you feel more you each morning. Let your day begin with intention, with breath, with beauty. Let it be yours.
